CORCHEM is a new division of Cortest, Inc., producing chemical corrosion inhibitors and inhibitor dosing systems and instrumentation. Cortest, with 25 year’s experience providing corrosion related technical expertise and corrosion research laboratory equipment worldwide, has partnered with a leading custom inhibitor chemical producer to form CORCHEM.

CORCHEM, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, provides bulk or blended inhibitor formulations. In addition, CORCHEM supplies a full line of economical chemical injection skids, pumping systems and related instrumentation. CORCHEM’s evaluation team members measure corrosion rates. The proper CORCHEM product and initial dosage can then be recommended. With this technique, optimized inhibitor dosing can be achieved in a short time, offering very substantial savings in inhibitor cost, while safely protecting pipelines and refinery equipment. Also available are closed-loop systems in which the inhibitor injection rate is regulated by the measured corrosion rate.
